I see, you see

Paris trip February 2011.

Doing a lot of painting and being in the moment tonight, as confusing as it may be. I just need to BE. The answers don't have to be discovered tonight, I'll have plenty more lives to find them.

I am in love

I am here.

Eating these.

And acting like this.

I am having the time of my life. I wish I could stay here forever. Today is my last day here and I am going to make the best of it, even though my head is about to roll off and smash all over the floor, I absolutely cannot drink champagne and I ordered whatever amber was having and I wouldn't dare send a drink back, so I just sucked it up, pun intended. Then we added vodka, yikes, my arch nemesis. Let's also not forget that I had 4 beers at dinner. What? It was very slow service. regardless, this morning I at least was able to sleep in until 9 and just hang out for a few hours by myself. Last night was so worth it. I'd do it again and again.

Anyways, is it sooooo tacky to buy a j'taime Paris tshirt? I hope so, because I want to be that tacky in love with Paris! You know those people that come back from trips and start acting like they know the language and use it in America? Like the ones that call Milan, Milano. (with a dramatic accent for effect) or bonjour like they are really saying hello? Ugh, no no the absolute WORST to me is bon a petit. Murder me. You're in America for heavens sake. However, when you're actually in the designated country of which whatever nauseating term you choose to use, you are perfectly allowed to. Suddenly it is completely ok! I even partake even though its terribly embarrassing to hear my terrible accent compared to their perfect one, but I digress. Oh! Another horrific one is the use of cheers as an email sign off. I'm cringing just thinking about it!

I have to run out now, last day in Paris or Paree as the locals would say :)

Bonjour!

So here's the deal people, I'm in Paris. WHAT?!?!? yes, I finally made it here and I'm just about to run out the door for a rough
and tumble work week, but that's the way I like it anyways :)

I am once again going to lie and say I'll be posting pictures, but I'm really taking a lot this time! So, hopefully if i can find a dumb converter for these goofy outlets I can email from my phone, blah blah blah. And
can we just give me a major high five for packing like a pro? I am a pretty quick learner and my suitcase can attest to that.

I've been super spoiled by the lovely LA weather because I'm awake at 7:30 and wondering why the sun isn't out! Haha not really helping with jet lag, but don't worry about me I think I'll make it.

I'm off! I'll try to update as best I can, oh! There was a mouse at the Lebanese restaurant we ate at last night! I thought I was just seeing things! And it was a nice restaurant! (side note: I cannot spell the word restaurant! Autocorrect fixes me up every time!)

I'll check back soon !!! Au revoir!

A night of thinking

This is what happens. A hearty pile of sunflower seeds.

In front of my computer screen.

It's been a long night, and I'm not really sure where it is going. I'm watching TED speeches and feeling quite inspired, yet not enough to do anything on my own. Some nights are better that way, no?

I have so much to do before Paris on Monday that I can hardly wrap my head around it. I journaled like crazy tonight to at least get it all on paper and off the squishy parts of my brain pushing out through my hair follicles and stressing me out.

It's super bowl weekend, so I'm expecting a pretty good time, PLUS! plus my very good friend Heather  is having a special bday Saturday night, that I can't wait to celebrate :) Lots of dressing up in my future :)
Especially to wear my John Elway jersey :) hahha

Ok good night people, hope you had a more still night, than racking your brains over sunflower seeds!
